What this job actually involves
This is a front-of-house role with real responsibility behind it. As well as looking after the phones, the door and the diary, you would keep client files moving: chasing paperwork from providers, preparing packs before meetings and making sure nothing sits waiting on somebody’s desk.
No financial services background is needed. Being organised, unflappable and genuinely nice to people is the job. If you want to study for the APA or QFA later, we will pay for it.
What you would be doing
What we are looking for
- Two years in a reception, administration or customer-facing role.
- Comfortable on the phone with people who are worried or in a hurry.
- Well organised, and able to hold several half-finished things without dropping any of them.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems.
- Discretion. You will see people’s financial circumstances every day.
Nice to have, not essential
- Experience in a brokerage, solicitor’s office, accountancy practice or medical practice.
- Any exposure to a CRM system.
- Irish or another second language.
The package
Ring and ask. An informal conversation now is better for both of us than a formal application that turns out not to suit.
A CV and a few lines is plenty.
No cover letter of three pages. Tell us what you are doing now and why this looks like a step you want to take. Everybody gets a reply.

Thanks, that is with us.
We read everything ourselves and you will hear back either way, usually within a week. If you would rather talk it through first, ring 0818 44 55 66.
